We give a portion of our proceeds to bless the sick, caretakers, and bereaved. We give out framed digital artwork with Bible verses of encouragement and compassion. We want all those who are hurting and going through a tough time to know that God is Adonai Roi, “the Lord who sees me.” God sees all and knows all. He deeply cares for each person’s needs and wants. It can be emotionally and physically trying to be ill or the caretaker of someone who is ill. Every day feels like another hill to climb. The Bible says in Proverbs 11:25, “those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” This verse was a constant reminder of hope to me when I was a caretaker for my mom. She is with the Lord now, and that was a difficult transition, too. So much of my energy was taken up by thinking of her needs that my life just seemed to pass by. Even though it may be easier in some ways to have more freedom now that she is in Heaven, it is also harder, too. Death was never God’s plan. However, God has made a way in Messiah Yeshua to give us eternal life. All must know of His love, especially those in a vulnerable state. When you give to The Outpouring Ministries, know that a portion of those funds goes to minister to others in need of a time of refreshing.
